How I managed to lose weight and hold my weight for 8 months
I suffered from obesity. At 1.70 meters I weighed 113.5 kg. My doctor strongly advised me to lose weight, otherwise there would be health consequences. Since I was already suffering from back pain and had difficulty breathing anyway, I followed his advice. But any success was short lived. At best, I lost 9 kg, then came the binge eating and I started eating my beloved chocolate again. Often, I weighed more afterwards than before.
I tried different diets. I couldn’t do low carb for long. Cutting calories helped me lose weight for a short time, but I didn’t feel well. Then I did Weightwatchers, which went well for three weeks but soon the scale was showing 112.8 kg again and I became severely depressed.
Then a friend of mine told me about hypnosis in Berlin, which was supposed to help keep binge eating at bay. I wanted to try it, because what did I have to lose? In the first appointment, we talked about the procedure. Then 2 hypnosis sessions followed. After the first one I was disappointed. I soon started nibbling again. I could not stop the cravings and was desperate. Only after the second hypnosis session did I see results. No more binge eating, I ate healthier and exercised more. The kilos dropped and dropped.
Meanwhile I weigh 69.3 kg and would recommend a hypnosis session to everyone. My self-confidence is back, I feel more agile, I can play catch with my children without getting shortness of breath. I have become a new person and I want to stay that way. The only downside at first was the cost, because I did not know if it would work. But losing weight was easy for me and only that counts. In retrospect, it’s such good value for the money you pay. I love life again – and that is priceless.
